Note:
“It is clarified that in the advertisement the age limit between 55 – 60 is preferable only. It is not limited/restricted either for less than 55 or more than 60 years. It is advertised to attract applications from Younger persons so that the person so selected will be eligible to go for a second term in case Honourable Chancellor decides so. Further, normally the retirement age of a professor is 65 years, which can be extendable upto 70 years for VC’s position as per UGC guidelines.”
